Royal School of Church Music Examination Results

CONGRATULATIONS to four choristers who have been successful in Royal School of Church Music examinations recently. Luke and Rio achieved their Bronze Awards (Luke with a Merit) and Oliver and Cobus achieved their Silver Awards (Oliver with a Distinction – an outstanding mark of 93%).

These Awards were formerly called Dean’s and Bishop’s Awards, and they test a whole range of a chorister’s musical ability as well as requiring a considerable knowledge of music and liturgy. The boys all prepared very thoroughly for their exams, taking a lot of time and trouble, and well deserve these excellent results.
